About
Prologue
Henrik Schaller is a 23 year old multi-instrumentalist and songwriter currently residing in Nuremberg, Germany.
When he started playing the guitar at the age of 10, it quickly became clear that he had found his passion and lost his heart to music.
In 2017, he discovered Nevermore. It became his biggest musical influence as a musician and songwriter and brought him to the 7-string guitar with Jeff Loomis being his most favorite guitarist and Warrel Dane being his most favorite vocalist/ lyricist.
A Musical Journey
In 2019, at the early age of 17, he became a member of the band M.I.GOD., which led to increased public presence, especially while supporting A Life Divided on their Germany tour in early 2020 and Maerzfeld on their Germany tour in 2022. He left them after the Maerzfeld tour in summer 2022 to focus on his other projects.
Between August 2021 and January 2023, he was the Guitar-Tec for the Comedy Metal Band J.B.O. He was part of their Planet Pink-Tour and participated at festivals like "Rock Dein Leben" and "Summer Breeze" in 2022.
In 2022 and 2023 he participated at the Taubertal-Festival as a co-video-/ audio-editor and worked alongside artists like Peter Fox, Kontra K, Electric Callboy, Marteria, Kraftklub, AnnenMayKantereit, FEVER 333, ...
In 2023, he stepped in as the lead-guitarist for the modern metal band Dieversity while supporting Broken Fate on their Dying Fate-Tour.
In 2024, he stepped in as the guitarist for the progressive metalcore band Torrential Rain while supporting Never Back Down on their tour.
Projects/ studio work
Since 2022, Henrik Schaller is part of the Doom-Metal studio project Tales Of Mike alongside Mike Hess (all instruments) and Gonzalo Civita (vocals). He plays the solo guitar. The upcoming album Humans is expected to be released in 2025.
Solo Work
In January 2021, he started writing songs for his solo-project, his most anticipated work now to date. Many well-known musicians from bands such as Megadeth, Arch Enemy, Soilwork, Strapping Young Lad, Cradle of Filth, In Flames and Witherfall will join him on his journey.
In 2024, he started to release a few cover songs like the Bill Withers classic Ain't No Sunshine, Lana Del Reys Gods & Monsters and many more. He interpreted, sung and produced all the covers on his own.
In 2025, Henrik Schallers first EP "Changes" will see the light of the day.
